The patio is on the edge of the river providing a wonderful view but Japanese Knotweed and grape vine filling in. Please get the invasives out of there and provide or allow natives or non invasive to seed in.
We have been here numerous times and have loved it. Not so much this trip. Our company and scenery were wonderful. Food though very tender and cooked perfectly was tasteless. I had venison and my husband the salmon.
Great ambiance. Great service. Amazing meal. Had the shrimp and scallop saute and had to have been one of the best ever.
The food was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful. The be soon is so good I almost ordered another. Try the veal very very good.
The ambiance was lovely. The service was courteous, professional, prompt, and friendly. The meals were delicious and interesting. We will be returning, and recommend you consider visiting. Good stuff.
Terrible experience. We reserved upper stairs room 4 months ago for 12 family members to celebrate patents 80th birthday and 55th anniversary. We wanted a quiet private room. When we arrived they informed us that due to being short staffed we could not have the upstairs room. We were seated at round table with obstructions so half the table could not see each other. Wait staff even told us they hate the table because it is the worst in the restaurant. 25 minutes to get drink order. Restaurant had many large parties and was very loud. We asked them to turn down air as it was blowing directly on us. We ended up shutting the vents ourselves. No bread was served until we asked twice. As they were short staffed, the service was extremely slow. We had to find wait staff several times. Actual meals were very good and presented well. Manager never came over and checked on us nor apologized for not having the upstairs open or for poor table and poor service. Good food but terrible atmosphere, loud, worst table ever, wait staff kept banging into us as they tried to serve the round table.
Server was good but her assistant we keep having to ask to clear empty glasses, turn on the outside heater.
New patio could be nicer. No lighting or candles on tables so hard to see food. Have an LED light over the door is like looking into a beacon when your seat is facing it, needs a shield. LED fence post lights but in sufficient if your table is not near.
